At the young age of 6, Sam Hunt joined the karting scene all the way across the Atlantic in the small country of the Holland. Upon moving back to the United States four years later, Sam continued his racing career in Champ karts on dirt. Later came the transition to asphalt with the Limited Late Model (LLM) and Late Model Stock Car (LMSC) competition. Hunt grabbed a few wins during his LMSC career at Orange County Speedway in Rougemont, NC and Shenandoah Speedway in Shenandoah, VA. Finally, in 2012, Sam began his NASCAR K&N Pro Series East career at the age of 18. In the last six years, he has racked up multiple top-10’s and top-15’s to add to his NASCAR resume. In 2016, he joined forces with Peyton Sellers to create HSR which granted him the title of the youngest NASCAR team owner at the age of 23. Sam is a recent graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University.

If you hear the last name “Sellers” within the Mid-Atlantic, chances are that you will immediately think of Peyton Sellers. Peyton is one of the most well-known NASCAR Whelen All American Series LMSC drivers to date. Sellers began his racing career in open-wheel sprint cars, and shortly after racking up an incredible amount of wins in only his first 20 starts, he began a career in stock car racing. In 2002, Peyton won the Rookie of the Year award at South Boston Speedway, his home-track, in the LMSC division. In 2005, he won 14 out of the 16 races he started that season. He has had success in every series he has competed in which includes ARCA, NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and the NASCAR XFINITY Series. Currently, Peyton runs and operates an LMSC team alongside his brother H.C. Sellers.
