Hunt-Sellers Racing (HSR) is a NASCAR K&N Pro Series East competing race team owned and operated by long-time series competing driver Sam Hunt and legendary Virginia short-track racer Peyton Sellers.
Owner – Sam Hunt
At the young age of 6, Sam Hunt joined the karting scene all the way across the Atlantic in the small country of the Holland. Upon moving back to the United States four years later, Sam continued his racing career in Champ karts on dirt. Later came the transition to asphalt with the Limited Late Model (LLM) and Late Model Stock Car (LMSC) competition. Hunt grabbed a few wins during his LMSC career at Orange County Speedway in Rougemont, NC and Shenandoah Speedway in Shenandoah, VA. Finally, in 2012, Sam began his NASCAR K&N Pro Series East career at the age of 18. In the last six years, he has racked up multiple top-10’s and top-15’s to add to his NASCAR resume. In 2016, he joined forces with Peyton Sellers to create HSR which granted him the title of the youngest NASCAR team owner at the age of 23. Sam is a recent graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University.
